Electrodiagnosis Study

Electrodiagnosis study (EMG-NCV) is a highly accurate paraclinical test used to diagnose diseases of the nerves and muscles or involvement of the spinal cord and nerve roots.

This specialized test is performed by specialist doctors with the most precise equipment (EMG device) and can last between twenty minutes to an hour, depending on the type of the cases.

EMG-NCV study are used for the following people:

  • Patients with damaged lumbar or cervical discs and symptoms of pressure on the nerve root or spinal stenosis.
  • Patients with burning, numbness, paresthesia, and tingling sensation in the hands or feet, especially at night.
